Hashcat Password Cracker Goes Open Source
Security Update : Jens Steube, the creator of the password cracking toolkit Hashcat, has announced that his tool and its derivates will from now on be made available under an open source license.
The news has first been published on the Hashcat forum, where Steube explains the motivations behind his move.
