Google Turns HTTPS On by Default for All Blogger Sites
Security Update : Google announced experimental opt-in support for HTTPS on Blogger (Blogspot) last September. In an announcement today, the company says tests went well and is now turning it on by default for all user blogs.
Back in September, the company added a setting in Blogger’s backend that allowed users to turn on HTTPS for their blogs. This setting is now gone since the feature is on for all blogs, but another option has made its way into the backend, one that says “HTTPS Redirect.”
This option, if turned on, will automatically redirect all of the blogs’ visitors to the HTTPS URL instead of the old insecure HTTP link.
