Anonymous Takes Credit for DDoS Attacks on Turkey’s DNS Servers, Accuses Turkey of Aiding ISIS
Security Update : Earlier this week, starting on Monday, December 14, a massive 40 Gbps DDoS attack hit Turkey’s root DNS servers managed by NIC.tr, Turkey’s administrative body that handles the country’s main DNS servers and its .tr domain names inventory.
In a video posted on YouTube, Anonymous has now taken credit for the attack. The hacker collective is trying to justify its actions as part of its war on ISIS, the #OpISIS campaign.
